Mechanical Package Manager – Data Centres – Dusseldorf

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager in Dusseldorf. 

Responsibilities

•    Mechanical Package Delivery: Oversee the full delivery of mechanical systems including HVAC, CHW, heating, ventilation, and associated plant ensuring installation meets design specifications, client standards, and programme milestones.
•    Subcontractor Management: Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, review method statements, monitor progress, ensure quality workmanship, and drive performance to keep the package on schedule.
•    Technical & Design Coordination: Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and BIM engineers to resolve technical queries, review mechanical drawings, and implement design updates efficiently on site.
•    Quality, Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards across all mechanical works; carry out inspections and ensure compliance with German regulations and project-specific QA/QC procedures.
•    Progress Tracking & Reporting: Manage documentation, track progress against the programme, oversee testing and commissioning activities, and deliver clear mechanical package reports to project leadership and clients.

Requirements

Must have Relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large-scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany

Benefits

€85,000 - €95,000 + Full Rotational Package
